Why we’re giving Showcase away
Tennis recruiting is broken. Most athletes who could play in college never get seen — not because they’re not good enough, but because no coach ever knew they existed. Same talent, wrong zip code.
We need the first 500 tennis athletes on the platform to help us prove the level field idea works. In exchange, founding-class athletes get:
- Free Showcase through high school graduation plus four years ($600/year value, up to ~$4,800)
- Free access to the college transfer portal feature (when and if it launches) — planned, no firm timeline. Full terms at /combine/founding-class.
- Founding-class badge on your athlete profile, visible to college coaches
We’re not forgetting who got us started.

Who can join
Athletes 13 and older
Parent + athlete both get logins.
Parent owns the Family Account. Athlete builds their profile, uploads video, messages coaches (when NCAA permits), and manages their recruiting. Parent sees everything and can interact with coaches directly.
Founding-class Showcase free through high school graduation plus four years.
Athletes under 13
Parent-only account.
Parent creates and manages the account on the athlete’s behalf. No login for the athlete until they turn 13. All founding-class benefits still apply — the account is ready when the athlete is.
Founding-class Showcase free through high school graduation plus four years.
One-time $1 charge to verify parental consent for a minor’s account — a method the FTC recognizes under COPPA. Non-refundable. Not a subscription.
How it works
Create your Family Account.
Parent enters basic info. A one-time $1 charge verifies parental consent for any athlete under 18 — a method the FTC recognizes under COPPA.
Add your athlete.
Name, age, sport, current level. If 13+, an athlete login is created. If under 13, parent runs it.
Build the profile.
Founding-class members start with Showcase tier active.
Combine is fully GA on June 6, 2026. Founding-class signups before that get priority onboarding.
Questions
What is Level Field Combine?
Level Field Combine is a college recruiting platform for tennis families. Athletes build a profile college coaches can search, browse every college tennis program, message coaches directly through Scout Line when NCAA contact rules allow, with an AI-assisted recruiting pitch — without paying thousands for a recruiting service.
How do I get recruited to play college tennis?
Coaches recruit athletes they can find and evaluate. On Combine you build a searchable profile with video, stats, and academics, browse programs by fit (Safe / Target / Reach), and — on the Recruit tier and above — reach out to coaches directly through Scout Line when NCAA contact rules allow. Visibility plus direct, compliant outreach is how athletes get on a coach's radar.
How much does Level Field Combine cost?
Walk-On is free and lets you browse every college program and build a basic profile. Paid tiers are Prospect ($24.99/mo), Recruit ($35.99/mo), and Showcase ($49.99/mo), adding video, direct coach contact, Court IQ, and an AI-assisted recruiting pitch as you move up. The first 500 founding-class tennis athletes get Showcase free through high school graduation plus four years.
Can I message college coaches directly on Combine?
Yes — through Scout Line, starting on the Recruit tier. You message college programs directly, coaches reply when they want to learn more, and NCAA dead-period and contact-window rules are checked at send time. For athletes under 18, a parent sees every conversation and approves the account before any coach can make contact.
What is Court IQ?
Court IQ is a space of tactical tennis breakdowns curated by Justin Quest, 2024–2025 Texas Tennis Coach of the Year. It is included on the Prospect tier and above.
Which college programs are on Combine?
Every D1, D2, D3, NAIA, and JUCO tennis program, with tuition, graduation rates, roster needs, and fit scoring (Safe / Target / Reach). College and high school coaches are free, day-one users.
Is there a contract?
No. Founding-class is free through June 1 of the fourth year after your athlete's high school graduation. After that the account converts to free Walk-On.
What does the $1 cover?
Activating a minor's account includes a one-time $1 charge to a parent or guardian's card. Charging a card and notifying the account holder is one of the verifiable parental-consent methods the FTC recognizes under COPPA, and we apply that same standard to confirm a real parent is approving the account. The $1 is non-refundable and is not a subscription.
Can my under-13 athlete have an account?
Not yet — parents create and manage the account on their behalf until age 13. Same founding-class benefit.
What happens when the benefit ends?
Account converts to free Walk-On automatically on June 1, four years after high school graduation. You get 30 days' notice.
What sports are supported?
Tennis at launch. Other sports rolling out after a six-month learning window.
Is this a guaranteed scholarship?
No. Combine gives you access, tools, and visibility. The work is still yours.
